SEO System Updates

Latest updates to the SEO System.

This page tracks changes to the SEO System — new pages, updated content, and structural changes.

How this system evolves

The SEO System is a living document. Search changes, Google updates its systems, and our understanding of what works evolves. This page tracks what changed and when.

Updates fall into three categories:

New pages. When a new topic is added to the system, it appears here with a brief description of what it covers and why it was added.

Content updates. When an existing page is significantly revised (not minor edits, but meaningful changes to advice or explanations), the update is logged here with what changed and why.

Structural changes. When sections are reorganized, pages are merged, or the navigation changes, those changes are documented here.

Update policy

Minor corrections (typos, broken links, small clarifications) are made without logging. Significant changes that affect advice or understanding are always logged here.

If a page's core advice changes because of a Google update or new evidence, the change log entry will explain what changed and why the previous advice is no longer accurate.

Practical takeaway

Check this page periodically if you want to stay current with the SEO System. Major updates will also be communicated through UpSearch notifications for active users.
