What uses credits?

Credits are used for heavy work: AI chat (received messages), premade reports, manual tool scans, and content generation. Your Dashboard refresh is included and refreshes automatically once a week. Manual scans for Keyword Intel, Content Health, Competitor Intel, Rank Tracker, AI Visibility Toolkit, Site Health Audit, and Trust & Authority Audit cost 1 credit each. Backlink Manager scans cost 1 credit per tab scan.

Do monthly credits roll over?

No. Subscription credits refresh each billing cycle and do not roll over to the next cycle.

Do add-on credit packs expire?

No. Purchased add-on credits do not expire and remain on your account until used.

How many credits are included per paid plan?

Solo includes 100/month, Growth includes 200/month, and Business includes 300/month.

Am I charged if a report cannot run?

No. If a premade report cannot complete — for example, because your site could not be crawled — your credit is automatically refunded. You will see a confirmation in the message.

What monthly emails are included?

Monthly SEO Monitoring emails are available on Solo, Growth, and Business when monthly monitoring is enabled for a connected site.

How do weekly emails work?

Growth and Business users receive Weekly Content Suggestions directly in their inbox. Select what you want and click generate, and your draft is waiting in Content Studio.

What is Business-only email coverage?

Growth and Business include Weekly Operations briefs. Verified drop alerts are Business-only (when alerts are enabled).

Are blog posts published automatically from weekly emails?

No. Weekly Content Suggestions sends ideas and draft-ready prompts. Content is generated only when you trigger it.

Can UpSearch publish articles directly to WordPress?

Yes. Connect your WordPress site in Settings, generate or refine your article in Content Studio, then publish it directly to WordPress without leaving UpSearch. Before publishing you can review and edit the title, meta description, slug, excerpt, and publish status. Save drafts to WordPress or publish immediately once everything looks right. This makes it easy to go from keyword opportunity → article → live post in one workflow.

What backlink tools and reports are included?

Backlink Manager includes opportunities, Reddit discovery, backlink profile scans, link gap analysis, and velocity tracking. In chat, you can also run Link Prospecting Ideas and Backlink Profile & Authority Plan reports from Playbooks.

Where do I find the backlink reports?

Open the SEO Agent chat, click Playbooks, then go to Competitors & Authority. There you will find Link Prospecting Ideas and Backlink Profile & Authority Plan. Backlink Manager itself also lives in the Backlinks section of the sidebar.

How many connected sites are included per plan?

Solo is designed for 2 connected sites, Growth for 5, and Business for 10.

What does Free include?

Free includes 1 connected site, 5 trial credits, and limited chat so you can test the system before upgrading. All 3 toolkits are also included for free.

Do weekly content suggestions require Search Console data?

Yes. Weekly evidence-led content suggestions require usable Google Search Console evidence. Sites without enough evidence are skipped.

Which plans can enable monthly and weekly automation settings?

Monthly SEO monitoring requires Solo or higher. Weekly Content Suggestions email controls are available on Growth and Business.

Can I still use UpSearch if I do not connect Search Console or Google Analytics?

Yes. UpSearch can still scan your site and provide crawl-based analysis, opportunities, and content workflows. Connecting Search Console and Google Analytics gives you stronger visibility, click, and impression data, but they are not required to get started.

Can I configure email settings per site?

Yes. Email settings are managed per connected site you own, including monthly checks, weekly digest preferences, and alert toggles.

Does my site need server-side rendering (SSR)?

Yes, if your site is built with a JavaScript framework like React, Vue, or Angular. UpSearch analyses your site by reading the raw HTML source. If your content is rendered entirely by JavaScript in the browser (a single-page application), the HTML source will be empty and our tools — as well as search engines like Google — may not see your content. To use UpSearch and to rank in search, enable server-side rendering (e.g. Next.js, Nuxt.js, Angular Universal) or static pre-rendering so your content appears in the raw HTML.

What if my site blocks crawlers by default?

That is common. Some websites use hosting, firewall, or security rules that block automated crawlers by default. UpSearch includes Scan Access support, which lets you safely allow UpSearch to crawl your site using a secure token instead of turning your site protection off completely.

Do I need to disable my site security to use UpSearch?

No. In many cases you can keep your existing protection in place and allow UpSearch safely through Scan Access. This is designed for sites that want the benefits of full crawling without opening access broadly.
